Dr. Abraham Cyril Issac B.Tech, MSc., MBL, MBA, Ph.D.

I am an Assitant Professor in the School of Business at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. I completed a joint Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. I am a Mechanical engineer from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and have completed postgraduate degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, and Business Law from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, University of Madras, and NLSIU Bangalore respectively. I am a trained thermal powerplant engineer. Now I specialize in Organizational Behavior with a special focus on a relatively new construct of Knowledge hiding. 

I am a recepient of the IIT Madras Institute Research (IR) Award 2021 awarded by the institute for excellent Ph.D work and the R. N. Rajendran Award for Best Thesis in the area of  Organizational Behaviour/Human Resource Management. My academic interests include Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management, Marketing Management and Macroeconomics. Apart from my regular teaching and research assignments, I also engage actively in consultancy, training and coaching programmes.
